Departing from the Sevii Islands south of Kanto, Professor Hemlock's rather large and sturdy research vessel heads south-east along calm oceans. Professor Hemlock, the youngest Pokémon Professor by about a decade. welcomed the group of trainers to the boat on the first day. The young Professor seemed almost as excited about the trip as the Trainers
"Welcome, everyone! My name is Professor Lunafreya Hemlock. Some of you may have heard of me, while others, I believe, may think my studies are silly or childish." She chuckles, a sound almost hidden among the sound of the waves lapping up against the side of the boat. "I have devoted my life to discovering and studying the ancient myths and legends of this world. One such legend has lead me to Nutara, the continent the world thought sank into the ocean millennia ago. This is where we are headed now as part of the Nutara Cultural Exchange Program. Several Trainers from Nutara have already traveled to Kanto and Johto to begin their journeys. We should arrive in several days, so please take this time to get to know each other and the crew here. If any are having second thoughts, let me know now as we are still in range for the teleporter to take you back to the Oak Pokémon Ranch in Kanto. We will be out of range in roughly 6 hours. The device has a limited range and once we reach Nutara, we will be there for a while." She motions to a gentleman leaning against the wheelhouse window who has a rather seasoned adventurer look to him. "This is Doctor Aiden Martin, a long time friend who has been on more of my adventures than I care to admit. Aiden?"
The man stands straight and adjusts his jacket a bright smile on his face. He appears a few years older than Professor Hemlock, but almost as though he were a big brother to the Professor.
"Hello everyone, as Luna has said my name is Aiden and I am along to not only help explore this new area, but to help set up Pokémon Centers and Cultural Centers across the country. We will be landing in the Capital City of Atlantis and meeting with dignitaries for the first few days to get everything squared away and have you registered as official trainers and visitors to the country. I believe this is simply a meet and greet with Queen Serafina and her people as they have not met outsiders before." He pauses for a moment, lost in thought. When he speaks again, it sounds almost as though he is issuing a warning but with a warm smile, "We are new here. While we may not fully understand their customs just yet, please try to be on your best behavior. You were all chosen because the Professors of the Mainland Regions thought that you would all be great emissaries or ambassadors to this country." He motions to one other Trainer on the boat, a face many might be familiar with. A champion to come out of the Johto/Kanto Pokémon League several years prior. Kaidan however, is silent while sitting and petting an Umbreon whose normal golden patches are blue and its coat shinier than normal. "While here, Kaidan will be helping set up and oversee an official Pokémon League Tournament as a Representative of the Leagues back home. In Nutara, trainers may join their Pokémon in battle, which have been called a Bonded Fight; though introducing League Sanctioned battles, each Gym, or as they have been called here Temples, may choose their own format for battle. League Sanctioned Battles are starting to pick up popularity in hopes of limiting the amount of injuries their healers and doctors have to deal with."
Bowing his head and giving the floor back to Professor Hemlock, Aiden returns to leaning against the wheelhouse almost seeing as he studies the Trainers while they are gathered.

"Do you have any questions for us? If not, be about your business and try not to fall overboard, we still have a decent ways to travel."
